During these bad times when people all around world suffer from Covid-19 (Corona) , you know that education is also getting more difficult. What I will show you today is a perfect way for these days to motivate ourselves for education and to keep learning. It's undoubtedly "VIDCAST". Vidcast is a great way to learn. These videos are not much different from the theachers that we listen in classrooms. Maybe they are not as much effective as our 'real' teachers, but we can not neglect their power to teach.

PODCAST EXPERIENCE

HI GUYS!
Now I will add a link for you. I have discovered a "podcast" maker app. This app is never difficult to use. By the way the name of the app is "ANCHOR". This app is kind of a platform where everyone can share their own podcasts. I have experienced something different today. When i first started to use this app it only recorded "1 minute" records. However, when i wanted to share my record, i recognized that i can make an episode with my seperate voice records. So i was both surprised and happy. This app is really useful and shareable. It can be used for various aims. Here my aim was to share a topic about my department. It is "How to ask questions in English." I hope you will like it!

MY GISTORY

   Hi guys again! Today I mentionted you an app: "Gistory". I tried to make my own gistory and now i want to mention it. 

   I planned to teach/practice the colors in English and I made an introduction by making my aim clear in the first page.

   As ı said in my previous blog, i really appreciate this app to give users the opportunity of seeing the meaning of the words by tapping on them. So I tried to make the same thing in my gistory.

   I gave some examples of colors from real life and I added a picture for it.

    In this page i offer users to make their choices in line with their wishes. If they do not know the name of the color in English they can tap on the "show more examples" button and they can see more detailed examples for that color or they can click on "I know it" button if they know the color.

GISTORY REVIEW

   Hi everyone! Im here today with a creative app for you!
   -GISTORY-
   When I first saw the name of the app , i just thought that i would see some historical videos or something about "history". But that was not the case when I actually started to use and discover the app. This app is actually kind of  story-question chains. It helps learners learning while having fun.




   Firstly, the first page has already three examples of stories or questions. I want to show you one of these.

  

    The app most of the time works by asking questions

   It is excellent that it allows users to see whether their answers are correct or not immediately just by clicking the "submit" button. And then you can continue by clicking "next" button.

   The app also offers choices to the users. So, users can choose whatever they want to read or the way they want to follow.

  
    I really appreciate the fact that this app also allows learners to see the meaning of words which are typed with different colors just by tapping on them.This is a perfect characteristic especially for the beginner level learners!

   It allows some kind of questions such as true/false questions.

   
   You can also add a video-question or a video to watch!

    In the end the app thanks the users, which is very kind of it!
What I did not like about the app is it is not shareable. I wanted to create my own gistory. I created one and I was very enthusiactic to share this immediately with my friends but I could not. I hope this feature will be developed.
